About the Work

He Who Tastes Unseen is a condensed relic of a process carried out over several weeks — an attempt to face and integrate aspects of my desire, longing, and sexuality that I was reluctant to look at directly. The original work was painted with ink I made myself, mixed with ash gathered from rituals performed during that same period. In those rituals, I worked toward the same end: to approach what I would rather keep at a distance, and to give it a place within myself rather than leave it unseen. The material of the painting therefore carries something of the process from which the work emerged.

He Who Tastes Unseen is not an explanation of that process, but one of the forms it left behind.

The print is produced on Hahnemühle German Etching and is signed and individually numbered.

Each edition includes a Certificate of Authenticity and a unique, hand-painted sigil chosen specifically for the edition.

Each sigil is an original work. No two are identical.

The edition is strictly limited to 20 copies.
