Tim Bernhardt is a German visual artist whose work explores desire, suffering, transformation, and the limits of selfhood. Working primarily with ink, acrylic, and drawing-based processes, he creates symbolic figures suspended between the human, the monstrous, and the sacred.

His images are informed by shadow work, mythology, dreams, contemplative practice, and an ongoing interest in the ways bodies carry memory, conflict, and longing. Rather than offering narratives of healing or resolution, his work investigates states of tension, ambiguity, and endurance.

Alongside his artistic practice, Bernhardt teaches the Chinese martial art Ving Tsun, an experience that continues to shape his understanding of embodiment, vulnerability, and human interaction.

He lives and works in Germany.
